Background Voice Note Transcription

Background: I find myself needing to take voice notes while in a conversation or in between without the chance to take the focus time on my laptop or my phone to record and wait for the transcription. Background processing is not reliable rn, so it feels like I am left without options here. Feature Description: I would like Cleft to run in a "fire and forget" mode - an ideal workflow: I press my Action Button on my iPhone which is triggering a shortcut to start a Cleft voice recording I press it again (or don't say anything for 7 seconds) and the voice recording stops Transcription is triggered in the background, fully processing the voice recording in the background I get a Cleft push message that transcription is done and I can review it and check out the summary Profit Benefits/Rationale: It's the true successor to your personal voice recorder Potential Implementation: Action Button - Shortcuts or direct Action Button API access User Stories/Scenarios: Scenario 1: Record voice memos without workflow interruptions and distraction - imagine a doctor being done with talking to a patient and the next one is already at the door. Or product managers juggling with a lot of stakeholders on a hectic day.
